I've had two replacement windshields, both were fine, although the
quality of the chrome trim on one left something to be desired(this
is a problem you won't have- C4's don't have chrome around the glass,
right?) You will never get Audi-branded glass via insurance, ever-
because it costs 2-3x as much. Don't even bother asking unless
you're footing the bill, and have won the lottery recently.
The following is a combination of advice from different installers.
Do not wash the car for several days; rain's OK but better to be
garaged. Do not drive at highways speeds for a day or two. Verify
yourself that the VIN window lines up properly and the rain tray is
not overly pinched before the installer starts packing up. If the
installer does not do it on his/her own, ask that the windshield be
taped to the roof, or do it yourself- about a foot and a half or two
of stiff tape on both sides keeps the windshield from creeping down
before the adhesive sets fully(I believe only needed for a few hours).
