[s-cars] Consensus on Painting/Coating EM???

What did you do to get the machine oils burnt off before painting it?

Bake it in the oven like cast iron????

Just wondering.

Well no "paint" is going to hold up on the EM?   Wrong....  I used POR 20 on
my EM and RS2 turbo prior to installation in August of '02.  It is still on
there and looking fine.   ;-)
