Ok, gentlemen, capping off another week of stipidity is this little geem.

My wife, or even better, her best friend lost the very last (valet) key to
the 95.5 Avant. what is especially cute is that I was at the dealer
yesterday watching the guy behind the parts counter struggle to find what
blank he needed to cut an extra key. Umm thats a 95 right, S6 you say, I
thought they did not make those until 2000 or something. Well we had to look
under 97 A8 or something once the supervisor came to aid ... Can't order
that blank without your title, huh?...


The question is can the 95.5 key be made from a code, or VIN or something?
Any BTDT stupid trick would be appreciated.
