Yes. You'll (well, I was anyway) first surprized by how much you miss
the clock when you take it out, and how annoying not having it got to
be. 2nd, its hard to match the gauge face to the rest of the
instruments. This too gets to be surprizingly annoying. 3rd, for me,
it, the clocks stock position, was a lousey spot for the boost gauge.
You have to take your eyes well off the road to read it, and one only
really seems to want to read it when your hammering the throttle. Just
not a good combination IMO. I ended up putting the clock back in and
found a different spot, the A pilar for the EGT/boost gauge.
FWIW, you can combine two functions in one gauge, e.g. SPA Technologies
guages (pricy stuff.) Lets see from way back, a partial list of places

Any BTDT on this subject? I was driving my new
purchase the other day, just getting aquainted with
subtle differences between the the 95.5 S6 and a 93
S4, other than the sensory deprivation that a stock
exhaust, suspension, turbo, um, etc, and I noticed
that something was missing in the instrument cluster
and zap, NO OIL PRESSURE. AHHHHHH, I'm used to
information, EGT's, AFR's, IC TEMPS, BOOST PRESSURE,
AND OIL PRESSURE!!!! Let's see, from 5 gauges to 0,
this has got to change....
Can anyone help here.
