To any and all that are interested,

Tom and I spoke for about an hour last week in regards to what I believe
would be a great option for the Big Red crowd. I wanted to lighten up my
brake system and Tom said he could help.

This brake rotor upgrade would only be for the RS2 bracket/993tt caliper
brake system with no spacers required. A DIRECT BOLT ON. Only for UrS-cars.

ECS would machine the custom aluminum hats using their new Tru-Float design
and mate them with their rotor rings. These would be available as either
slotted or slotted and drilled. The size would be fixed at 12.6" by 30mm
thick. Approx weight of 16lbs. For more specs, please see their website.
Closest info would be under the B5 S4 brake upgrade page.
Or click the link.

This upgrade is meant to give more options than just the factory Porsche
993tt rotor ring, as well as lighten the load up front. Also to offer a
brake rotor solution with no modification to our cars or the 993tt caliper
and RS2 bracket.

10-12 people need to express interest in this for Tom get started on
designing the hats. This is NOT a Group Buy, rather a commitment to Tom at
ECS for him to spend the time to make these. Price point would be approx
$600 for hats, hardware and rotors, any style. Would come
pre-assembled/torqued from ECS. Replacement rotor rings would be available
right away as well. Tom said it would be 30 days from start to finished
product available for sale.

Please email me with your comments/questions and commitments. I will try to
answer any questions you might have. If they get very technical, I might
have to refer to Tom. Please feel free to call me during the day as well, as
I am away from my computer all day. Email is early AM and late PM. Thanks.
