[s-cars] Drivers door problem...

For the past 2 month the drivers side door needed  a little extra umph 
to close properly. I tried to lube to hinge points but to no avail. Today all 
of a sudden, to door flies open and shuts without any resistance at all, 
and not in a good way. I have compared this with the passenger door,
which feels normal. Has any one else had this type of problem?
