[s-cars] Multifunction temperature sensor harness

My temp gauge has been totally inoperative for the last few weeks, so
over the weekend I fiddled around with the sender connector, trying to 
find a loose connection before replacing the sender.  The connector on 
the harness pretty much disintegrated in my hand -- it was very brittle.  

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement connector?  Or at least a
part number for it?

A related question for someone who has replaced the sender: how much
coolant do I need to remove before removing the sender?
