Well the formula does have the BMW "M10" motor working at 105% VE in
naturally aspirated form, 
from @ 4,000 to 4,500+ rpm, with the lowest reported VE of 83% at 2500
rpm .... 
maybe there's a glitch or two in the numbers, formula or the
assumptions, ...
or it doesn't work so well on a reverse engineering basis.

No boost gauge in the car...  I would assume about 25-26 psi.  I'm
running the popular hybrid software.  348% seems highly unlikely  ;)
