[s-cars] Driveshaft woes, Center U-Joint

I'm not sure this is gonna help, but the Center-u-joint for a 1988 5000TQ is identical to a Gull-Wing Mercedes (I swear).  Are the U-joints in an S-Car the same as a 1988 5000TQ?  If so, you have your answer.  If not, there is a U-Joint house in Hollywood CA that could figure it out.  They brought out some old guy from the back that looked at the 5000tq u-joint, disappeared, returned with the Mercedes Part.  Send me the part if all else fails, and I'll drive over there for a Belgium Ale (or two or three.  Suggest you send the beer AFTER the U-Joint if you want results)...

I can't remember what we did WRT the bearing, but I do remember welding, so it may be the Bimmer part...
