Trevor:  It could be the ebrake cable.  The outside cover breaks underneath the car near where the cable enters the car.  Lets water in = corrosion = sticky cable.  Or the caliper is sticky.  There is a procedure to free up a sticky ebrake cam at UrS4.com.  I just bought "rebuilt" calipers (which turned out to be brand new) from a local after market company.  Relatively easy to change the whole caliper.  NOTE:  Playing with your old caliper may require retracting the piston which needs a special tool to push and turn the piston at the same time.
