I'd suggest checking the current draw of your car battery with
everything disconnected, if it's more than 30-40 mA you've got something
draining your battery that shouldn't be. When the voltage in these cars
drops, weird things start to happen... and your symptoms may be a
result of low voltage.
Check Scott Mockry's writeup of the power door lock problem
(http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/elec.html#windowrelayclick). I bought my
'92 with this problem (which is why I got it for a good price!), the PO
couldn't figure out what the hell was going on and sold the car in
anguish and desperation. Current draw was several hundred milliamps,
which would slowly drain the battery. Culprit was the yellow #8 wire,
as described in Scott's excellent website. Cutting it disabled the
automotic sunroof feature, current draw dropped and everything suddenly
became normal (whew!) -- THANK YOU SCOTT!
