[s-cars] 6 disc CD Changer kaput

S-Heads,

My oem 6 disc changer (4D0035111-Alpine) is only working out of the right speakers, even though I get all speakers when using the radio and tape deck.  Has anyone found a solution. Dealer prices are 380 and 470 USD. Ouch.
