[s-cars] G60s or UFOs - Thanks for the Info!

Thanks for all the information!

I was in on the BIRA sys 3 bracket buy. But when I priced all the bits, the
ECS Stage 2 brake kit (almost the same, 993TT caliper as opposed to the
Monobloc) was actually cheaper. And I don't have to pay a premium for the
red calipers! I am hoping someone who is set on the BIRA brakes will buy my
brackets.

Anyone running the ECS brakes? 993TT w/ Euro S8 rotors.

Thanks

James Shackelford

Your brakes are fine. They stop as well as the drum brakes on a Series II
Landie, with about the same pedal feel.

If that isn't acceptable to you, then run, do not walk, to your backyard or
other large expanse of land, and bury your wallet. If you don't you'll
regret it :)

I didn't and I regret it! But my car has been upgraded nicely. <grin>

(Just to calibrate your expectations, I'm about 25% of the way down the
slippery slope, at a cost of about $4K. The expenses mount up more quickly
the further you slip down the slope.)
