S-gruppees:

I have a 93 Audi S4 that never had a CD changer. I could have bought
one when I
bought the car used in 1998 but the dealer wanted CDN$900 for it. (I
don't think so, Tim!!). Since then, I have been searching for a magic
silver transceiver box (so I could use it with a Sony CDX-A30) but have
never lucked out. I have been real close several times but ...I even
stooped to "vulturing" those with recent UrS-car write-offs but still no
luck...

So I have finally admitted defeat and thrown in the towel. I am going to
go with an RF modulated unit (Sony CDX 565 MXRF) - partly because it
will play CD R/W and MP3's and partly because it fits perfectly in the
left hand trunk storage bin (covered) that the 92's and 93's have. I
was hoping to steal the switched power for it from the pre-wire
rectangular plug in the right rear wheel well. However, I don't know
which plug/wire is which. I am hoping that someone may either have or
can point me somewhere where the pin-out information for this plug can
be found. Alternatively, if anyone has a BTDT on a similar (or the
same) RF modulated CD changer, I would appreciate any/all advice that
you can offer.

Thanks in advance.

Dave F.
