Count me in as another satisfied user of these brakes. There is something
nice about making one phone call, and getting all the parts delivered in
one box 3 days later.

I ran these on my car for OneLap 2002 and a few track days. The Mintex
Reds (standard pad choice for the kit I think) are decent for the street
but not up to snuff at a brake heavy track. I went through a new set of
pads in one day at Waterford Hills (Detroit MI area).

For OneLap we ran proper track pads, Carbotech Panther Plus and they held
up well for the "maximum 4 consecutive laps" track usage. Squealing was a
bit loud with those though, we just called it the APWS (Advanced Pedestrian
Warning System).

Back with the Mintex Reds since then and they are a little noisy when cold
but don't seem to make much noise when warm (Porsche noise dampers installed).

I'll be bringing a couple boxes of Textar's with me when I move back to the
states this July, then there should be no noise problems at all.

The other bonus for me is that they fit fine under my 16" stock 93
five-spoke wheels that hold my winter tires... My SSR Integrale's
required a 5mm spacer, no big deal.

Speaking of UFO's, at LeMans this weekend. (was there with Freddy and the
gang, full report forthcoming!!), I saw a URS4 with UFO's. My first
reaction was "wow, this guy got wheel-covers that mimic a real audi wheel",
then I realized I was seeing the UFO rotors behind his spokes, not a steel
wheel :)

Cheers,
Keith
