Bob,
I don't know that the 94 fixed your problem, but what are you saving by
running 93 or 91?  10 cents a gallon? $2.00 a tank?
If that allowed you to get a little more timing advance or bump the boost a
few psi it would be a pretty inexpensive upgrade.

If every station had 94 I wouldn't buy anything else, they don't so I have
to settle for 93.  I don't fool around with anything less.  Some might say
the car doesn't need it,
but for $100 a year why take the chance.

So to update the list on my bucking at high boost levels/max air pressure
exceeded code- I thought I'd try a couple of tanks of Sunoco 94  octane.
Since then I have had NO bucking/hesitation. Is my problem really that
intermittent or am I going to have to keep spending $2.00 a gallon?????? FYI
car has Lehmann stage 3, RS2 manifold + turbo, Stromung, FMIC.

Sounds exactly like what I had...and it was intermittent.
Accelerate fast and it happens, accelerate slowly and it doesn't.
Cleaning the contacts only helps if it is dirty contacts on the MAF or
the connector, Could be a bad MAF...:o(

Do you have anyone near you that you can swap MAF's with to see if that
solves it?
