My car does something slightly different. Every so often, the sunroof opens
itself while I'm driving, always to the tilt position. 

Scared the *CRAP* out of my wife the other day as we were moving smartly
along the Mass Turnpike. The sudden increase in windnoise really threw her
for a loop.

I figure it's just a ghost in the machine and at some point I'll swap out
switches. I've got a spare panel from a later A6 that I want to put in, but
first I'll have to clean it up a bit and install the remote button for my
garage door opener (just a simple momentary switch connected to the leads
inside the garage remote stored up in the headliner).

Also, btw, this talk about batteries...I think I'll pick up a new Optima in
the fall as I think I'm still on the original battery...
