I think this may be Brandon Hull's ES2. Search the web
under "Ersatz S2" and you will pull a number of
references to the car.

If it is Brandons, and it sounds like it has the same
history, then it is something of a legend. The build
is uniquely well documented. The build was pioneering
stuff.

I live in Europe and own an S2 personally. In some
respects, this car has better specs than the original.
H&R springs and Konis were not standard. A 6 speed box
was not introduced until 93,etc.

Brandon was modest about the power potential of the 
I-5 motors. 500 HP is widely achieved and there are 2
cars in Scandinavia that dyno at more than 800HP (on
race gas). Both are based on the 3B motors used in the
urS2.

This car deserves an owner that appreciates this
unique car. But if Brandon wants to sell it, I think
it is up to him to decide who he sells it to.
