[s-cars] Serpentine Belt tensioner/fan pulley/bearing

I have been noticing a rattle from the serpentine belt
area in the front of the car. After some time
removing the serpentine belt I found 2 potential
causes, and have a few questions.

1. Serpentine belt tensioner. When I spin it there
is a slight clicking noise maybe once per rev. So
obviously it needs to be replaced.

Question 1. After some searching in the archives it
appears the assembly is dealer only and costs about
$200. Has anyone ever tried to disassemble the
tensioner to just replace the bearing?

2. Rubbing sort of noise coming from the pulley for
the engine driven fan. This is not coming from the
viscous coupling- that spins freely, has no noise,
leakage excessive play etc. The noise is coming from
the pulley and I'm assuming the bearing in there is
shot as well.

Question 2.
Anyone know a way to get at this part without taking
the whole front of the car apart (again)- just did the
t-belt, wp, tensioner roller, serpentine belt etc less
than a year ago.

Thanks,
Bill Perron
