[s-cars] Group Buy for Hella Smoked Rear Tail Lights

JaMu (Emerald): I used some two filament bulb holders from a Datsun I once bought for parts (ice racing days) and two new Audi single filament fog light holders. Through the miracle of Dremel (tm), I created an unholy alliance of these two holders (times two) and having been running 5 W/ 21 W bulbs in them. The
normal fog light is 21 W so when the 5 W bulb running light is on, there is nothing annoying whatsoever. I have the 21 W filament connected to the signal light (via the OEM trailer light connections that are part of the rear taillight assembly). I always wanted to figure out a way to have priority sequencing
control over this 21 W filament so it could also be a brake light filament (or fog light again) but I never got around to it. The right side "fog light" housing is only painted silver and isn't as reflective as the left side but it still works okay. (In my opinion). You have to remember that I live in Vancouver
and in Nov/Dec when it is dark, it is wet - and real dark from the rain (we don't get too much of that lovely reflective white stuff) and hence, this is mod is a defence against being rear-ended. BTDT (not with this car though, thankfully).

(hard to believe, but that's what he posted...) but also the lights are made to be overly reflective for bad weather...
