Interesting question..... Someone else mentioned the MINI Cooper S... In that same vein, how about the Ford Focus SVT? Not sure on the reliability but it would still be under warranty..... Or a GTI with the 1.8T engine.... From a sedan perspctive, the Jetta 1.8T would be a nice package, as would the VR6.....
