Speaking of torguing wheels...
I just had the summers changed over... First the monkeys busted one of the
center caps trying to knock it out form inside.. (no not Audi rims)... but
more importantly, they didn't handle the torguing of the rims properly.

After about 150 miles, and before another 150 mile trip, I decided just to
check the torgue of the wheels. Well I started at the right rear. The first
bolt had backed off about 180 degrees, the next was a bit tighter, the next
was a few turns away from seating... at this point I wondered if there would
be any bolts absent..

Anyways, all where tourgued and checked again. Point to the story boys and
girls, check the wheel bolts or nuts, after ANY service to the vehicle, and
any ohter time you can think of it.
I have lost a wheel on my own car ( not my Audi, but a beater from years
gone by) and also in my friends van.
It's not fun, it is dangerous and can cause anywhere from minor damage to
the sheet metal around the fender, to all out destruction.

Many of you know this info I am sure, and I mention this only for any of the
younger less experienced out there.
