[s-cars] Timing belt

Well I've been doing my timing belt.  I was motoring along quite nicely
with zero problems until I hit the very last step of disassembly.  I can
not get the crank pulley off.  The crank bolt is of course out and the
guard is unbolted, but the pulley won't budge.  Some light hammering
with a rubber mallet has allowed me to jiggle it back and forth a couple
mm but not amount of jiggling and light hammering will make it come off.
I don't want to get too extreme before asking the experts, so here I go;
any ideas guys and gals?
