I'll be interested on your impressions of this turbo.  I'm shopping the
Garrett GT series as well at the moment (I'll also be running a tubular
manifold).  I was checking out both the GT32 and GT35 as possible
candidates for my 2.3L 20vt (NG lower end, 7A head) 4ktq.  As I'll be
running stock NG connecting rods and pistons I don't want to shoot for
much over 400hp (until I throw one through the block and rebuild the
motor with non el-cheapo parts).  The GT32 has a recommended hp range of
200-420 for 2.0->2.7L motors, the GT35 is spec'd for 260->510hp for
2.5->3.2L.  (I'm referencing numbers from Garrett's toy book:

I assume you are sticking with the stock Audi external wastegate?  I'm
not sure what kind of housing options are available on the GT series..
the catalog picture for the GT35 shows a T4 exhaust housing.  Do you
know if it is available with a T3 flange?  And if you don't mind me
asking, what was the damage to Mr. Mastercard for that thing?
