Hi Bob, 
I originally ordered my compressor from Harbor
Freight, but when it arrived damaged, the custoemr
service went down the drain. I ended up returning it
and buying the same compressor from Campbell direct,
for less money. They have great deals on
remanufactured ones. They are not usually on the
website, so call and ask what they have in stock. 

They have an awesome customer service department and
help make frugal recommendations too. It's a 6hp and
26 gallon tank:VT6271. I wanted an oil fed one also. 

I wanted a large capacity one which would fit under my
workbench. I have been very happy. I painted my house
with it last summer and have always had plenty of air
for my garage tools.

Hi Y'all,

A while back there was a thread about suitability of
various air 
compressors and recommendations of which might be
considered 
appropriate 
for specific uses.

I would like to have a compressor to permit easily
inflating tires 
(mainly 
on my tractor and other equipment) and occasional
light duty wrenching 
with 
a variety of light duty tools.  Well, maybe somewhat
heavier duty tools 
being used for light duty wrenching.  Also desirable
would be a 
reasonably 
low price.  Any recommendations?
