Bill, while I am a fairly new s-car owner ( since Oct), I thought that the
original S cars ( that is the Euro versions) had better suspensions and
brakes? I don't think the engineers were on vacation but that Audi North
America "Americanized" the car. I can imagine what they were thinking: our
roads generally suck so we will soften the suspension so that Dr. So and so
would not complain about the stiff ride when driving the wife to the country
club. Brakes, well here the speed limit is not higher than 75 mph so big
brakes are really not needed so we can save money by placing cheaper brakes
on the car. ;-)
