Bill, we are talking about have a new Timing Belt (TB) cover built to replace the current plastic one, so that if the serpentine belt snaps as it has happened in the past to a few listers, the broken seprentine belt will not break the TB cover and also damage the timing belt resulting in engine damage! Preventive measure only...
Dave and Mark and talking about having one made from aluminum, Emre and I think a Carbon/Kevlar mix is a more economical way to go...
