[s-cars] Humming after shut off

Might be a failing gas cap..
I find (as opposed to Dave) that, especially when near empty, there exists a
positive pressure in the tank.
Many times have I unscrewed the cap to a hiss just after shut-off.

You may want to check if the cap holds pressure.

Buffalo Spring Field. Neil!! Far out, man!! Groovy. (N'stuff)

Bob: I get the same noise some times, I think it is the air pressure
equalizing in the tank, i.e. while the fuel pump is running the tank is
under a slight negative pressure. When you shut the motor (and fuel pump)
off, this negative pressure has to equalize back to atmospheric and what you
hear is air leaking in through the overflow vent (or something like that).

But I am just guessing.
