You can replace it later.

Subject: [s-cars] Serp Belt tensioner question.
S-fellows-
This weekend I will be doing the BIG service. Oil change, Tstat, WP,
Tbelt, Tbelt roller, crank seal, sparks, valve cover gasket, plus any
other miscellaneous sundry items I may find in my several hours under
the car.
What I will NOT be doing however, is the S-belt tensioner, partly due to
my lack of planning. To have this part by tomorrow, the local stealer
just quoted me $257.95 for the tensioner, $95.00 for the expedite fee
(next day), which, with 8.8% sales tax, results in a grand total of:
$384.00
I haven't puckered that reflexively in quite awhile.
So, my question is......
Do I proceed with the other service(s)? Or, will I have to tear the
front end all apart again to get at the tensioner when I get one next
week? Can the tensioner be "easily" replaced later?
Thanks,
Craig Lebakken
