[s-cars] ECS II Brakes Caliper gave up!

First, quick apologies for non-list participation
for several months, with my go-fast mods, I've
been watching the road, and haven't noticed much
more than an occasional glance at the speedo, let
alone my computer.

So, barely 2 months after the ECS II brake
install, whoops, no pedal and that T-intersection
is coming up fairly fast, luckily, sound mind,
back roads, an the hand brake got me to second
gear and right through that stop sign, phew! Now
WTF? Sure glad I took a short back road BEFORE
getting on the Highway to find this out!, 40 miles
later, and getting quite adept at going slow,
keeping distance, and nursing an occasional hand
job, I'm home.

This morning, brought it to my local mechanic and
he says the front driver's side caliper piston is
leaking.
I was hoping for something loose, new fluid and a
bleeding.

Bloody Hel*, ECS and TJM are closed on Saturdays.
I expect ECS will warranty this, even if the
actual purchase was last year. The install was
just recently and very professionally done. Guess
I got some calls to make Monday.

Anyone had one of these Porsche Calipers fail
after 1500 miles?
