First, I'd remove the s-belt and tensioner, to fully remove all other sources of the noise. The i5 does a magnificent job transmitting all noises around..
If the sound is still present, I'd probably join in with Igor and be very cautious about just changing the bearings. (BTDT on a Supra engine..)
