This took all of five minutes. My new "tool" will find a home in the toolbox reserved for tools used every couple of years. Right next to the piece of PVC pipe end that works magnificently as a crankshaft seal press.

Au contraire.
Not only has it been moved the requisite several inches forward on the
right (pass.) side, it is being held in place with a super high tech
holding fixture:
8" piece of 1 x 2 cedar, with about a 3/8" hole drilled 1" from the end;
1.5" diameter fender washer
3/8" x 1" Lag bolt threaded through, leaving .1" clearance between
washer and wood.
Apply to R/H radiator mount and tighten.
Works well.
