It's possible that under these conditions the igniton timing
has been retarded to its maximum limit as the ECU is adapting
to the knock detector inputs. The ECU will then back off the
boost to prevent knock and reduce the EGT.

You might try higher octane fuel if you can get it, and/or get your
water injection going if you didn't have it already turned on.
