I do not recall (IDNRC) how I found this site:

but scroll down to the pricey HIR bulbs...$87 and $66 variety.  I've
ordered the "clear" $66 high beams.  LOOK! at that package:
HolyOshikawamba Batman! If that's not Toshiba, at least it's Japanese:)
I'm gonna send Mr. Pizzo my package after removing the bulbs.

I read that bulbs billed as white, superwhite, ultrawhite, whiteywhite,
etc. are coated to make the light look whiter, but actually are not as
bright as uncoated.

After evaluating these high beams, if they're good, I'll try a low beam
set or by then may have heard how many of you have melted your housings
or not by using high beam bulbs in the low beam housing.  If the heat
issue can be dealt with, I think a relay harness could be used to
protect the wiring.

Now; if anyone has an extra grand+ or so, here is the coolest (my

Amazingly, it is not Bluetooth ready however.
