[s-cars] 9011/9012 GP - Are you in?

Okay here's the "deal":   The background to this GP of high-output
Halogen Infrared (HIR) bulbs is based on this link:

The original 9011/9012 bulbs were made by GE.  The link to this info is

However, GE no longer makes, sells, or stocks these bulbs, perhaps for
technical reasons.  John Deere, the tractor people still have some GE
9012 "low" beam bulbs in stock( part# AH 162232) for about US$26 each.

Toshiba (probably the Harison Toshiba Lighting Corp.) took up the
challenge to design a better bulb (than GE) but to the same specs as the

Daniel Stern, the Product Development Engineer and Export/Retail Sales
Coordinator for Candlepower, Inc. brought the 9011 and 9012 back into
the aftermarket after GE delisted them.  Daniel and I talked on the
phone and he informed me that the Toshiba 9011/9012 bulbs are
OEM-quality and have none of the breakability/fit problems that the GE
product had.

Through his own company, Daniel Stern Lighting,  Daniel is willing to
offer us a GP on the Toshiba 9011/9012 bulbs.  His normal list price is
US$38.95/ea. If we can get 15 buyers of at least two 9011/9012  bulbs
each, we can get the price down to US$29.80/bulb.  If we go
significantly higher in volume, it will kick the price down lower.
Participants will also have the option of adding non-9011/non-9012
extra  items to their order. The special H7 bulbs, for instance, or the
special reversing lamp bulbs.  However, this will be done one on one
with Daniel.

What's my angle?  None.  I just want to get the price down so I can get
a set for a decent price (I have already ordered a set of cheaper but
more fragile GE's from a John Deere dealer - the Toshiba's will be the
long term replacements).

So are you in or what?  Once there is a sign that we will easily meet
the 15 set minimum, I will contact Daniel, establish a price and post
the price and contact details.
