tranny on rs6 got 3 setting - Drive, Sport a Tip. You can use Tip in any
mode anyway for up/downshift, Sport will keep rpm up high. And it does
respond ...

I want a $30,000 car.     RS6 is out of my price range and with a tiptronic
sounds like it is crap.   Automatics are great when they are built right -- 
you don't need the tiptronic feature - but this idea of shifting an auto
with some manual intervention is just plain silly.   It was fun to do in the
old GMs of the 70's -- cuz they actually responded -- but not now.   I've
driven tiptronics - WASTE OF TIME!.
