[s-cars] RE: trunk stuck shut

Paul, if memory serves me, somewhere in the list archives, is a thread
dealing with catastrophic trunk lock failure (CTLF as they say on ER) and
the secret to getting the damn thing back open.

IIRC, the unfortunate who started the thread went through an extensive
disassembly process, starting with his rear trunk lights to try to gain
access to the release mechanism before discovering either (a) that it
couldn't be done, or (b) some sort of secret short cut, sort of like the
Indian in the closet.  

Unfortunately, I don't recall what the secret answer or path was/is to
getting the recalcitrant lid back open.  So perhaps an archive search might
turn up the answer to the locked trunk?  I'm pretty sure starting in Queens
wasn't in the correct answer.
