[s-cars] Brake light staying on

Check your power steering fluid level.  The level sensor for it is also tied
into the brake light, and it sounds like you have been slowly losing fluid.
The blinking was the level being on the border of kicking off the sensor and
sloshing the fluid around while driving would set it off.  You are now
solidly below the line and therefore have a constant light.  Safest bet is
leaking from the top plug of the power steering pump.
