[s-cars] Driver' Door Adjustment

Listeners:  The bottom of the Driver's Door on my 95.5 S6 is positioned in
about 3/8", inward beyond the Front Fender. While I was replacing the Power
Window Motor, I decided to follow the Bentley procedure for adjusting the
Door.  Per the Bentley, the Wedge located in the lower front of the Door
Carrier and behind the bolt is used to adjust the lower position of the
Door; i.e. pushing the Wedge up, causes the lower portion of the Door to
tilt in.  I assumed that by dropping/adjusting the Wedge down, would cause
the Door to tilt outward; however, no matter how far I pulled/adjusted to
Wedge down, it did not move the Door.  Other than the tilt inward at the
bottom, the Door fits and closes well.  I would appreciate any BTDT or
suggestions.  Thanks in advance.
