The leak is in my opinion in the most peculiar of places where silicone will
not apparently help Mihnea. The only place that I can feasibly apply any
type of sealant is at the outside perimeter of the ISV. You are FAR more
knowledgeable than I Mihnea so I must be either missing something from your
explanation or not adequately explaining the precise leak source. In an
attempt to be more precise it comes from the "crimps" in the barrel that
curl around the plastic end into which the electrical connector attaches. I
am thinking that he only thing that would hole the pressure is epoxy or JB
Weld or something of the sort.
Regards,
Mark

Emre: Definitely not. Never had to do it in 85+ cars I've pressure tested
so far.
Mark: never had such a leak before, sounds really strange. The problem is
that the ISV is going to be pressurized by the charge pressure, so you
definitely want that leak-free. Try some silicone sealant if you can get it
in there, preferably the O2-sensor friendly type...

Mihnea
