[s-cars] Reducing 'Negative Boost' Anyone?

I think of it more like pressure buildups against surfaces, rather than
sticking your head out the window and opening your mouth like a hood scoop.
There are higher pressure regions on the car and there are lower pressure
regions; without taking measurements I can't tell you for sure where the
good spots are. Sure, I can point and wave my finger in the air, but until
you measure it it's just a guess.
Practically speaking it's more appropriate to pick a location where you can
put a right-sized inlet (for me I'd like it to be away from the puddles and
grit), then make sure it's not in some horribly dead spot. The ol' homemade
manometer would work in lieu of some fancy-schmancy Magnehelic.

(and no Bob, you don't have to pay for this article.) But I think one of
the caveats is that "ram air" really works best at speeds in excess of 100
mph. Last, bigger hoes with sharp edges don't work as well as smaller holes
with rolled edges ~
Oh my, did I just say "'hoes"?
