A mechanics stethascope wroks great, but use tubing on the end and  not the 
metal rod they come with. If you can't find or don't have one, a  simple piece 
of 1/4" tubing 2-3 feet long will work. Hold end to your  ear, and feed the 
other end into any other suspected area. If it's hissing-  you-ll hear it.
