The x-over pipe isn't perfectly straight, but off the top of my garage
shelf, measured end to end, it's @ 28" outside most edge to outside most
edge.  Not usually noted, but something I find interesting, the tube
actually tapers in sized and diameter from inlet (@ 2.75") to outlet (@
2.5")
