[s-cars] steering creaking sound

when not moving, or rolling really slow and I turn the wheel I get this creaking sound like somthing is really dried out, have been directed to check tie rod ends and control arms by members of dtwaudi.com, but I am not getting any clunking noises.  any insight as to what I should look into, thanks, also this only happens once in a while, started this summer when it was getting hot, I assumed it was the temperature, but started again last night with temps in the 30-40 degree range.  steering fluid is full.  no problems at all with turning, at least that I have noticed
what is up with this?
