I have a Fluke 187, which is a newer model than the 87. It does measure conductance in nS (nano Siemens). Stop by if you want to try it.

Still trying to track down the coil problem, and Darren was kind
enough to send me a wonderful method; however, it requires a Digital
Multimeter that measure Conductance. Mine does not. The Fluke 87 has
it as do a few other high-end models.
Does anyone in the Denver area have one? I can just drop by with my
coil array and test it without needing to take the meter.
Thanks!
