Since we are on the topic.

What year V8 Torsen Diffs are you guys installing? I have a 90
V8 that I am considering swapping out the rear diff with the S6.
I want the Torsen benefit but my S6 rear diff is leaking anyways
so I kill two birds with one stone. Anyways, my 1990 has the 3.6L
PT motor with what I believe to be a 3:83 rear end. If I am
correct I beleive the 92-94 V8's had the 4.2L motor with 4:11
rears. So there are two different ratios for the rear end
depending on what year it comes out of. This I know for sure, I
may be off on the ratios but I know that the 3.6L motor and the
4.2L motor had different ratio Torsen rears. Which one best
matches the S6? Any takers?

TIA for any insight.

John
