I hate to say YES, but the same think happened to me last year, with a little difference: the nut came out completely, sending the wheel crashing against the back of the wheelwell, and I was doing about 60mph when it did! I described the incident with details in Audiworld, search for TripleBlackS6.

An unusual rubbing of my right front tire led me to discover that the swaybar nut had loosened. As result, my entire front control arm/strut had moved approx an inch towards the rear of the fender. Upon inspection, I had about .25" of threaded nut remaining. Disaster avoided...
I replaced the lower control arms and sub-frame mounts last summer and remember torqueing the nuts to 125 ft'lbs. No locktite; no evidence it had been used before.
When I went to consult the Bentley, but since I re-installed the software, RB makes you call to re-register (and, yep, they are enjoying T-giving...).
Any insight?
