Mark,
Is this a new installation? If so, the Spec clutch (and any hp clutch)
needs at least 500 miles of tender driving. If you don't it will get glazed
over and won't be right until you drive another 5 to 10k miles. The fastest
way to get the clutch broken in is an easy 500 miles. The more you slip it
the longer it will take to break it in.
I went through this about a year ago when my mechanic said it really slipped
bad and though something was wrong. Spec told me what I just said above.
They were right. I think these peaky turbos make it easy to smoke the fresh
clutches.

Here we go again.
93' CAD S4,
LWFW from JB racing.
Clutch from Spec...
Problem, can't hold much power.
Clutch slips in 2nd , 3rd etc... starts at about 16 PSI boost.
I know that there has been problems with the spec clutches, what where they
?
Does this sound like ohh too familiar of a storey ?
Did anyone get their labor to re and re it a second time reimbursed ?
Any good lawyers (I know, no such thing...) on the list in Florida wanna
make some money :-)
I knew I should have stuck with centerforce.....
Any help greatly appreciated.
