For a further data point.  I'm on my 2nd UrS with the ECS Stage 2 Kit
(314mm rotors, 993TT calipers) and the 16" 5-spoke '93 UrS4 factory
wheels fit fine on both cars.

If I lived in an area with a lot of gravel, I might run 5mm spacers in
front to increase clearance between the caliper and rotor.

With my 17" SSR Integrale wheels, the 5mm spacer is required. (due to
spoke design of the wheels)
