Sean,

My left ballast is tucked between the washer reservoir and the vertical
wire loop that holds the P/S hose.
The left one is secured to the body cross member with a tiny bracket
with the bolt that holds the RH side headlight spray pump.
The +12v feed is taken from the alternator on the left and the jump
start post on the right. Naturally, each one is fused.
The separate grounds are provided for each headlight to preclude them
form knocking out the Bose stereo.
The OEM harness is cut. The Low Beam feeds activate the HIDs directly.
The High beam feeds are relayed.
The feed for the vertical beam motor controled is provided from the OEM
harness.
The Autocheck box was hacked a long time ago (2000) when I relayed the
headlights: one relay for the Low and one for the High inside each
headlight. See my detailed post in the archives of that period.
